Dublin city centre

On Saturday was our first free day, and as we didn't have the opportunity before to spend some time there, that was the plan for the day.
After some problems with the buses and with alarm clocks, finally we could take the DART in Booterstown to Pearse station.
Once we were in the city centre we walked through Trinity College and we saw some of the important buildings of this famous university.
Then we went to Grafton street, a street full of shops and with some street performances that the group enjoyed a lot, not only that, but also they took some pictures with some of the musicians who were playing there!
And as it was lunch time and the weather and temperature were great, we visited Molly Malone statue and we had lunch sitting down in front of the Central Bank of Ireland, that is very close to our next destination: Temple Bar.
There, we walked around its streets that on a Saturday are full of people due to the two street markets that are held there. One is the food market in the Meeting House Square, and the other one in Temple Bar square with its stalls with books. Here some of the kids enjoyed again with some street musicians.
And it was time to cross the river Liffey, we did it through the Ha'penny bridge to explore the north part of the city. We saw O'Connell street, the spire and G.P.O, as well as all the shops located in O' Connell street and Henry street.
And to finish a tiring day, we had some take away food and we ate it in Stephen's Green Park and we went home, because next day we had our full day trip, and we had to rest for it.
