Afternoon in Sandycove and Dun Laoghaire

Due to the weather and a change of plans, on Sunday we couldn't go to the beach, and looking the weather forecast and how much the group wanted to go to the beach, yesterday seem to be the perfect day. Although it was cold, it was sunny, so after lunch, instead of having sports, we went to the beach. The place chosen was Sandycove, a very popular bathing place and very close to the Martelo Tower where the James Joice Museum is. When we arrived it was windy, but some of our brave boys went into the water, the girls more cautious stay on the grass near by watching them. After some minutes some people dared to try the cold water, although only with their feet!

We went back to Dun Laoghaire along the sea side, and we stopped to have an ice cream in Teddy's the famous ice cream shop.

Then we continued walking to the funfair, that was opened this time, and the group had a lovely time going into different rides. They enjoyed a lot the afternoon!
